A Trip To Hanoi

This was the whole group that went to Vietnam, Hanoi on the 16th Aug-19th Aug 2010.
It was a superbly fun trip with them all.
And there were moments where all of us nearly shed a tear for the children there.
Try being satisfied with just steamed rice and leftover chickens as dinner and a mat on a steel bedframe for bedtime.
I pity them, and how I wished I could have done something to please them.
Well, carry on with my experience.

The 2nd day was the greatest fun ever.
Being on the junkboat, running around to other people rooms, slacking at the deck in the wee hours.
Karaoke'ing with almost everyone.
Teambonding was there. Everyone interacted and sang along.

3rd day was spent shopping and sightseeing.
I panic-ed as both me and Azhar got lost in the busy streets of Hanoi.
Try being lost in another whole different country with language barrier. Scary.
Went back to the hotel, and got into a pillow fight with the guys.
Managed to sahur in the morning,
but didn't get to fast the whole day due to my bleeding throat.

4th day was our flight back.
Damn, why couldn't we spend more time there.
It wasn't enough though.
Last minute shopping and we're off to the airport.
Goodbye Hanoi, Hello Singapore !!

Reflection: Be grateful of what you have here, and don't be wasteful of your food. Learn to appreciate your surrounding and your loved ones before it's too late.
